Fabulous read. The story is really creepy, but somewhat predictable. Quite cleverly constructed, and the title is rather fitting. The stories of the foreign boy and the traveller girl going missing, having doors of a house which are locked and deserted. Stephen, a new orphan, travels to his cousin's house to live there for the foreseeable future, he does not realise that what he sees and hears in the house is foreshadowing how little time he is going to be in the house. It is a bit ambiguous of who is dead and who had killed whom at the end, though.
